Candidate Forum for Vista City Council & School Board
The Latino American Political Association (LAPA) is inviting the public to attend a Candidate Forum at the Rancho Grande el Toro restaurant on Wednesday, July 31th at 5:30pm.
Candidates running for Vista City Council, Vista School Board and Tri-City Hospital Board have been invited to participate.
The purpose of the forum is to provide an opportunity for members of LAPA and the community to learn about a candidate’s municipal governance philosophy and render an endorsement. All candidates running for these offices have been invited to participate.
For over 50 years LAPA, a non-partisan political organization, has been on a mission to ensure issues important to the Latino community, their families and their businesses are represented at all levels of government. LAPA’s goal is to promote leadership and unity within the Latino community and increase Latino participation in the political process and representation in all forms of government. LAPA members come from all walks of life, ethnicities, and political parties. For more information on LAPA or the Candidate Forum, contact lapasdco@gmail.com.
