"I, Woman" Cihuatl dance production

Soatsintle – Her eyes; Her story presents “Cihuatl: I Woman” dance production on Saturday June 28th at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. This production explores themes related to Mexican mythology, the challenges and attributes of women in history through artistic expression. Featuring numbers such as “Mascara de Jade” (Pre-hispanic Mayan) and “The forgotten Women” (Afro-Mexican women). A blend of pre-hispanic and contemporary dances that will highlight the richness of Mexican art and culture.
