DESCRIPTION:We are planning our Annual Christmas Warehouse Sale in the Vista Business park. Most of you already know that this is a coordinated event that you each host at your own location. We\, the Vista Chamber of Commerce\, act as the coordinator of the event...\n\nWho is involved...This date is based on Canari's Warehouse sale. Canari is a bicycle apparel manufacturer who has run a very successful warehouse sale for many years. Unfortunately\, Prana's date for their sale is the next weekend-due to their production schedule and anticipated christmas catalog orders. Since we were not able to get the dates to coincide\, we had to chose which dates to run our coordinated efforts on\, and we decided to go with Canari\, who is a Vista Chamber member-prana is not.\n\n\n\nWhat we do...We will do advertisting in print and online. We will  create a downloadable map of all the companies that choose to participate with a description of your products that shoppers can download from our web site. We get the permit from the City of Vista that covers all of you. (This would be a $124 cost for you to do this on your own)\n\n\n\nWho can participate...anyone in the Business Park. Bigger is better for this event. The more companies that participate\, the most we can all gain from each other's traffic. So talk to your neighbors!\n\n\n\nHow do you sign up...Print a form to fill out from us\, fax\, or email with a one paragraph description of your products and logo. If your sale is going to be outdoors (parking lot)\, you have to send me a diagram of your area. The fire marshal needs to make sure there is a clear fire lane available. (indoors doesn't need a diagram)\n\n\n\nWhat we don't do...we can not do adequate signage for an event like this. We will have some signs\, but you need to take responsibility to get potential shoppers from the main streets to your doors.\n\n\n\n What you are committing to do...print maps out of the overall sale to make available to your shoppers at check out register.\n\n\n\nSecurity...make sure you merchandiseand money is secure. This is a tough economy\, smash and grabs are prevalent. We have never had an incident during one of these sales-but that doesn't mean it won't happen. Secure your merchandise over-night.\n\n\n\nDeadline to sign up...we need to know who is in it by Friday November 19th so we can get the map and ads done :)
