DESCRIPTION:MiraCosta Horticulture Club Meeting The MiraCosta Horticulture Club will meet April 2nd at 12:30PM\, at MiraCosta College\, One Barnard Dr.\, Oceanside\, Student Center Bldg. 3400\, Aztlan Rooms A & B 2nd Floor. Dottie and Art Logan will present a workshop where you can learn the difference between traditional and creative floral design and how to choose the appropriate container to display your arrangement. Allan Dodds\, Professor Emeritus\, department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology\, UC Riverside\, will discuss how plant diseases have changed the course of human history. He is a docent at the San Diego Botanic Garden where he helps with plant mapping\, identification and teaching in the Docent Training Program. After the main speaker is finished there will be a plant raffle. The meetings generally finish around 3PM. The meeting is open to the public. For more information call 760 721 3281. Be sure to keep May 14th and 15th open to attend our annual plant sale!
