DESCRIPTION:The the MiraCosta Horticulture Club will meet on November 1st \, at the Aztlan Rooms of MiraCosta College. Workshop: Noon to 12:40 p.m.\n\nMarilyn Wilson will lead the workshop "Tips\, Tricks\, Secrets and Lies" (She promises surprises!). Discuss your garden problems and how you solved them\, share challenges that you would like help with\, tell us about your garden critters. Bring or discuss your homemade contraptions and items repurposed in the garden.  Program: 12:45 p.m. Marcia van Loy will speak on attracting hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden. She has been a volunteer with the Master Gardeners' Association of San Diego for 13 years and has been a gardener herself for over 30 years. Her garden is a Certified Wildlife Habitat and was featured in the San Diego Home and Garden magazine's April 2013 editions. The meeting is open to the public.
