And it has remained there since. Of course\, the idea for the festival existed long before in the imaginings and conversations of the co-hosts The North County Bluegrass and Folk Club and the San Diego Bluegrass Society. From the beginning\, this three-day festival set out to be known as a first-class event and a destination for bluegrass fans and musicians from around the world.
