Art Traxx, sponsored by the Oceanside Arts Commission is pleased to announce Art Traxx-a day of art on the Sprinter rail line on Friday, May 7, 2010.
This free community event will feature interactive visual artists, musicians and dancers along the Sprinter train, the 22-mile transportation rail line that runs along the Highway 78 corridor. Transit centers/stations participating in Art Traxx are: downtown Oceanside Transit Center, Rancho Del Oro/Mira Costa station, Vista Transit Center, Palomar College station, San Marcos Civic Center station, and the Escondido Transit Center. Art Traxx events and performances will take place at the various stations/centers between 4:30-7:30 pm on Friday, May 7, 2010.
All business and art entities are encouraged to join in what promises to be a fun filled event on the Sprinter rail line. If you have a performing group, please know that performance slots are 20 minutes or shorter in length.
