Encinitas Ballet opens its fifteenth season with the most celebrated ballet of the Romantic Era, Giselle. Giselle, a Romantic Ballet in Two Acts, is as popular today as when it was first performed at the Paris Opera in 1841. With a magnificient score by Adolphe Adam, Giselle presents one of the greatest and most challenging roles for any ballerina. Dancing the leading roles in alternating performances will be: two of the world's brightest Encinitas Ballet talents, Gabrielle Fish and Sejal Janaswamy.
