Elks club to hold fundraising event

Vista Elks Lodge 1968 will hold the "Elk-A-Rita-Ville" fundraiser event, a day of activities, beginning at 11 a.m. Aug. 12 at 1947 E. Vista Way.  There will be barbeque pig roast, chicken and all the fixings.  The day includes games such as Bocce Ball, horseshoes, a bounce house and other games and music, plus raffles for prizes donated by local businesses.  This event brings in funds for the lodge's military and special-needs children's charities.  Cost is $12 per person.  Call 760-724-1968.
