The fun continues at Alta Vista Children's Garden on Saturday July 14 with Water Discovery Day from 10 am to noon!
Our Kids in the Garden class this month features
bubbles, mud, rainbows, and painting for a exciting July outing.
Water is everywhere ... so we'll be having a great time blowing bubbles, painting with water and fingerpaint, playing in the mud, making rainbows, and learning about ice, condensation and evaporation.
We'll all be getting a little wet and a lot cooler
with our sponge relay and squirt bottles.
The Kids in the Garden class is in its third year of outdoor classes for gardening and the environment with retired teacher Nancy B Jones. Class is appropriate for kids ages 3 - 12.
Classes are offered every second Saturday at Alta Vista Gardens, at the top of the hill inside Brengle Terrace Park in Vista at 1270 Vale Terrace Drive, from 10 am to noon.
PRE-registration is required
with Farmer Jones farmerjones@altavistagardens.
Fee is $5 per child per session, accompanied adults free.
ALL FEES collected support the Shade Sails Fundraiser for the Children's Garden.
Kids in the Garden classes are FREE with family membership, $60 per year.
Admission to Alta Vista Gardens is included for families to enjoy the Children's Music Garden and explore our acres of exciting botanical gardens. altavistagardens.org
