Faith Lutheran Church in Vista invites the public to come discover their individual role in the Great Commission. “Mission U” is a FREE official Lutheran Hour Ministries Program that will help individuals better understand how to share their faith in simple, yet meaningful ways. The FREE event is led by Stacey Stender, a Lutheran Hour Ministries presenter. On Saturday, November 12th from 10:00a.m.-3:00p.m. the workshop will lead individuals through a program designed to provide lay people with the tools and training needed to confidently accept their mission of sharing Jesus Christ with unique people in diverse settings. The style and format of MISSION U mirrors a 21st-century university classroom. Flexible and ongoing, it offers personal training from speakers and additional instruction via the Web. The seminar is open to the public and a light lunch will be served. Reservations are requested as attendance is expected to be quite large. Please call the church at 760-724-7700 for more information and to RSVP for the event.
Faith Lutheran Church is located at 700 E. Bobier Dr, just east of Vista High School.
