The Vista Village Business Association presents the first ever North County St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival in Historical Downtown Vista. The parade will begin at 10 am with a flag ceremony led by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick with the Marine Corps Color Guard. Grand Marshall and Irish Fiddler, Patric Petrie claims that "the 1st annual St. Patrick's Day Parade will be a great event for families to enjoy and create memories with their child."
In addition to the parade, the festival will run from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm on S. Indiana Avenue in front of Hennessy's Tavern. Enter you children for the Most Freckles and Cutest Red Hair contests for a chance to win cash, prizes, and more. Participate in our Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win a gold coin, valued at $250.00, sponsored by Mother Earth Brew Co. and California Fruit Wine serving their Irish Kiwi Wine, located on S. Indiana Avenue. The North County Transit District will be offering a 2 for 1 special throughout the day. COME BE IRISH FOR THE DAY!!
