Quilts Exhibit in Vista
"Quilts" is the fitting title for a new exhibit that opens Thursday, July 19, at The Vista Historical Society's Museum at Rancho Minerva. The display will feature the Vista Heritage Quilt, which was created in 1989 as part of the Vista Heritage Week celebration. Other antique quilts on exhibit are owned by the museum and by Michelle Joyner, longtime owner of the Fat Quarters Quilt Store, 728 Civic Center Drive. The display will run through November, and quilts will be changed monthly.
