Rancho Buena Vista Adobe 20th Anniversary Fall Festival

    Twenty years ago, Vista leaders had the foresight to preserve history. A well-preserved adobe known as the "birthplace of Vista," became available on the real estate market. Leaders envisioned this would be an opportunity to create a living history museum to showcase for future generations.     

    Friends of the Rancho will host a free fall festival open house that will include tours of the house, art gallery and gift shop to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the City's purchase of the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe. The Friends of the Rancho are inviting local residents to share in the Adobe's history and will showcase how it has grown from an empty house to a quality museum since 1989. Light refreshments will be served and there will be door prizes.
