Super STEM Saturday Inspires and Educates Students Virtually
 
San Marcos, CA –Join thousands of North County families for a one-day virtual festival filled with hands-on DIY experiments, live demonstrations, and exciting day-of challenges (complete with cool prizes) that will ignite your curiosity and deepen your love for STEM – all from the comfort of your home.
 
Super STEM Saturday is a one-day festival that engages kids of all ages and their families to the diverse and exciting fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, known as the STEM disciplines. The brainchild of The Classical Academies and held in partnership with the College of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics at CSUSM, Super STEM Saturday has brought science to life for more than 50,000 people in North San Diego County.
This year the festival will bring that same love for science home. Join us on Saturday, April 24, 2021 for a virtual Super STEM Saturday science festival.
 
This free event is open to the public and children of all ages are invited to participate. Super STEM Saturday closes the 10-day San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering, the largest celebration of innovation and science education in Southern California.
 
“What we take away from our childhood is really meaningful to what we decide to do as adults,” said Simon Kuo, Vice President of Quality Management at ViaSat. “That’s why we believe it’s really important to expose kids to science and technology so that it can help them better appreciate it and perhaps even choose a career in STEM.”
