Dolly Levi, the well-known matchmaker, attempts to find herself a husband in the wealthy Horace Vandergelder. Based on Thornton Wilder’s The Matchmaker, in Hello, Dolly! our heroine surreptitiously matches a rich widow with a feed store clerk, and a poor artist with Vandergelder’s niece. After a ruckus at an upscale restaurant and a court case, Dolly convinces Vandergelder to marry her, and all’s well that ends well. This lush musical features Put On Your Sunday Clothes, Before The Parade Passes By, It Takes A Woman and the title song, Hello, Dolly! This show is sure to please audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Buffet lunch is included at the Canyon Grill on the Welk Resort.
