Who You Are & What You'll Do


You enjoy operating manufacturing equipment, always optimizing efficiency and safety. You have broad knowledge of how pumps, filters, steam boilers, and chillers work, and are able to troubleshoot when problems arise. You have a flexible schedule and can work first or second depending on business needs. You’re attentive to detail, ensuring that measurement and mixing of raw materials is accurate, and that batch records are completed in a timely manner.

Your duties will include to:

  • Operate vegetable oil refining, bleaching, and deodorization production processes
  • Record batching and testing information in a consistent and accurate manner
  • Monitor flow and processing mediums; monitor gauges, meters, and control panel

  • Observe variations in operating conditions, interpret meter and gauge readings; and test results to determine processing requirements

  • Understand and operate utility equipment boilers, cooling towers and chillers 
  • Use modern industrial controls to saponify vegetable oils and dry the slurry into bar noodles for in-house pressing operation
  • Offload raw materials into their dedicated storage receptacles, keeping track of inventory
  • Perform maintenance and repair assignments as directed, requiring the knowledge and familiar use of hand and electrical tools


What You’ll Need to Succeed


  • Understanding of and demonstrated ability in industrial controls and processes
  • Ability to operate/maintain/repair utility equipment boilers, cooling towers, chillers
  • Ability to enter data into the proprietary computer system
  • Relative job experience in refining or similar operations with typical industrial equipment associated with a production facility
  • Forklift operator certified
