Starting Wage
$32.34/hour
Location
On-site position in Vista, CA.
Schedule
5:00 AM to 1:40 PM Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Support construction projects and new equipment installations under the direction of the Senior Plant Facilities Supervisor.
- Aids in research and obtaining quotes for services and other facility needs.
- Communicates/coordinates with outside vendors.
- Assists with coordinating project plans and scopes of work that outline objectives, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Ensures that all project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports, are properly filed and archived for future reference.
- Occasionally supports with scheduling maintenance and repair of the facilities including interior/ exterior as needed.
- Supports with maintaining compliance with stormwater, Haz mat, and easements.
- Assists with maintaining compliance with fire code, fire sprinkler system, and back flow inspections.
- Occasionally, supports general maintenance which may include, but is not limited to, welding, metal work, carpentry, electrical repair, plumbing, plastering, painting, roofing, flooring and maintain AC & heat.
- Works with city inspectors or other regulatory agencies as needed.
- Other duties as assigned within job scope.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3 years of progressive experience in construction, facilities, or manufacturing operations.
- 2 years of project coordination experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Basic knowledge with Project Management Software, PDF editing software, and AutoCAD Viewer.
- Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License to operate a light truck or van.
- Must also be proficient in a variety of hand and power tools to occasionally perform maintenance and repair tasks.
- Experience with city permitting processes.
- Working knowledge of operating equipment used in construction projects.
