About Us
Guajome has served students in Vista and the surrounding communities for 30 years. This makes Guajome one of the longest-running charter public schools in the state of California. Our goal throughout these years has been to provide choices and options based upon strong instructional practice that focuses on meeting the individual needs of all of our students. We are an organization that focuses on the backward design model which states that ''in everything we do, we should always begin with the end in mind.'' The ''end'' for Guajome is our school's mission.
Our mission is to inspire and empower all learners to become responsible, critically thinking, compassionate global citizens who approach the world with curiosity, courage, and resolve.
