Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of culinary experience, with a focus on Mexican American cuisine. Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and presentation.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of dishes by adhering to established recipes and standards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance and professionalism.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus, specials, and promotions.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve menu offerings.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience, with a focus on Mexican American cuisine.
- Proven track record of leadership and kitchen management skills.
- Strong knowledge of ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques relevant to Mexican American cuisine.
