Vista Chamber of Commerce Announces Speaker Lineup for 2025 State of the Community Luncheon
(VISTA, CA – January 21, 2025) – The Vista Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the distinguished speaker lineup for the highly anticipated 2025 State of the Community Luncheon. This annual event, which provides a comprehensive overview of the current and future state of Vista, will take place on
Monday, January 27, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Keynote Speaker:
· Mayor John Franklin will deliver the keynote address, presenting the State of the City. Attendees can expect an insightful overview of the city's achievements, ongoing projects, and future initiatives that will shape Vista's growth and prosperity.
Additional Speakers:
· Rachel Beld, Vista Chamber Board CEO, will provide a brief update on the State of the Chamber, highlighting the Chamber's accomplishments, new programs, and strategic goals for 2025.
· Patrick Sanchez, Vista Irrigation Representative will discuss the State of Water. His presentation will cover vital information on water management, conservation efforts, and the impact of current water policies on the community.
· Shawn Donaghy, CEO of North County Transit District (NCTD), will address the State of Transit. He will share updates on transit services, infrastructure improvements, and plans for enhancing mobility within the region.
· Gerard Washington, Fire Chief for the City of Vista's Fire Department, will discuss Fire Preparedness. His talk will focus on fire safety measures, emergency response strategies, and community initiatives to ensure Vista is well-prepared for fire-related emergencies.
