Starting Wage
$140,000 to $160,000 depending on experience
Location:
This is a Remote position within the United States. If the candidate lives within 100 miles of Vista headquarters, you may be required to come into the headquarters as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive international business development strategies aligned with company OKRs to drive revenue growth, profitability, market expansion and local philanthropic & activist impact.
- Create and manage budget for the department and for each region, considering factors such as marketing spend, operational costs, and expected revenue and gross profit
- Identify and evaluate potential markets, assessing market trends, competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and consumer preferences to prioritize target regions.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and local agencies to establish strategic partnerships and distribution channels.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners and clients, ensuring favorable terms and agreements that align with company goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives and alignment with overall company strategy.
- Monitor and analyze market performance, sales data, and key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and identify areas for optimization.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging markets, competitive developments, providing insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
- Ensure company mission, vision, and values are understood and aligned with distributor partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness, network with industry professionals, and explore new business opportunities.
- Manage, mentor, and incentivize team members, ensuring effective collaboration and consistent progress toward international business growth.
- Inspire, motivate, and lead the international markets department to achieve departmental goals and align with broader company objectives, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure brand consistency and ethos across international markets while adapting messaging and visuals as necessary to resonate with local audiences.
- Oversee the management and launch of new product development initiatives, ensuring products resonate with local audiences and meet the needs of international markets.
- Other duties as assigned within job scope.
Qualifications:
- Must maintain a valid and accurate passport.
- Familiarity with basic computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite, is essential, as the position involves utilizing digital tools and technologies to enhance productivity and fulfill job responsibilities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, International Business, or related field.
- 5 years of experience with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company handling international sales & marketing.
- 3 years of management or leadership experience.
