City of Vista Proclaims April as Arts, Culture & Creativity Month
VISTA, Calif. - The City of Vista, in partnership with the Vista Public Arts Commission, proclaims April as Arts, Culture & Creativity Month, inviting residents and visitors to experience a lineup of events celebrating creativity, culture and community connection.
Throughout the month, Vista will feature hands-on workshops, live performances, cultural experiences and family-friendly events designed to inspire residents of all ages to explore the arts.
From cultural tours at Rancho Buena Vista Adobe to a teen band showcase at the Earth Day Festival, Arts Month offers activities for the community across Vista.

Community and partner highlights
Arts Month also includes partner events across the city:
- Vista Unified School District’s Art Under the Stars exhibit and reception — April 15, 4:30 pm
- Performing Arts Under the Stars at the Moonlight Amphitheatre — April 7-10, featuring four evenings of free live performances, 6-8:30 pm
- Ongoing creative programming at the Vista Library, including concerts, art activities and workshops for all ages
The Moonlight Amphitheatre continues its Moonlight Presents concert series in April, followed by the opening of the Broadway musical “The Cher Show” on April 29, kicking off the summer and the 45th anniversary season of Moonlight Stage Productions.
The celebration continues beyond April, culminating in the debut of a new community kite installation on May 1, bringing public art into neighborhoods across Vista, and extending the spirit of creativity year-round. Arts and culture play a vital role in building a vibrant, connected community by supporting local artists, enhancing the quality of life and creating opportunities for residents to engage and express themselves.
Arts, Culture, and Creativity Month is a state-wide initiative that recognizes and celebrates the arts.
