Vista Chamber Shines Light on City's 40 Under 40

March 5, 2024 – (VISTA, CA) – Vista Chamber of Commerce recognizes and shines a spotlight on 40 outstanding young professionals today under the age of 40 in Vista. The celebrated group is featured in the latest issue of Vista Magazine. They represent a spectrum of nonprofits, local government, education, entrepreneurships and a variety of small and large businesses. (Please see the entire list of winners attached).
“These up-and-coming leaders are the driving force behind our local economy’s growth and sustainability,” says Rachel Beld, CEO of the Vista Chamber. “It’s important that we take a moment to celebrate and support their outstanding work.”
Beld believes that today’s young professionals offer innovation and fresh perspectives in today’s ever-changing business landscapes with their ability to adapt and think creatively. “These young professionals bring a unique set of skills and a fresh outlook that breathes new life into established industries and leads to groundbreaking advancements,” she says. “We also celebrate these inspiring professionals as major contributors to job creation. As they launch startups and dive into entrepreneurship, they become pivotal in generating employment opportunities within our community.”
Applicants were asked to respond to a series of questions that included, “What do you like most about your job?”, “What is your biggest achievement to date?”, “What inspires you most?”, “What do you like most about Vista?” and “What advice would you give to other young professionals?”.
The majority of responses showed that strong family ties and support coupled with a foundation of higher education gave them an early confidence to follow their dreams and pursue their goals. Many also attributed their success to strong and positive mentorships, the importance of networking and always looking at opportunities to learn and grow. “One of the most significant things we saw in their responses was a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for others and their circumstances,” says Beld. “By publicly acknowledging their successes, we not only boost their confidence but also inspire other aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders to chase their dreams.”
