About Us
Armen Kurdian is a retired Navy Captain, entrepreneur, investor, and active member of the community. He, his wife Lindi, and his son Gregory currently reside in Vista.
Born in Wichita, KS, he graduated from the University of Kansas and earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering and his commission as an Ensign in the US Navy. Armen attended flight school at Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, FL & NAS Norfolk, VA earning his wings of gold as an E-2C Hawkeye Naval Flight Officer in March 1996. His flying career included two deployments to the Persian Gulf in 1998 and then 2005 in support of operations IRAQI FREEDOM and SEA DRAGON III. In addition, Armen also performed test flights in multiple variants of the Hawkeye, bringing multiple new modernized and vital capabilities to the Fleet. After three years of serving at Commander Naval Air Forces in Coronado, CA, Armen became a member of the Navy’s Defense Acquisition Community moving back to NAS Patuxent River, MD helping develop, test, and deliver many new additional capabilities to the Navy including the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye and new software control systems for the Navy’s growing inventory of unmanned drones.
Armen returned to San Diego to work at the Space and Naval Warfare Center managing a large portfolio of systems which provide and protect Global Positioning System-based navigation systems, and was personally hand-picked by senior Navy leadership to lead the development and execution of highly critical and vital programs necessary to meet emerging threats.
